i don't know about boils, but try using a blackhead cleanser on your body to help that. or even something like neutrogena acne wash.





don't be embarrassed to go to a derm! they know what to expect, won't make you feel bad, and would be able to help you more than anyone on here could!
you should not be embarrassed see your dermatologist you might be doing more harm by self medicating!
What about using something like Neutrogena body wash? It gets rid of excess oil... and maybe a power - like talc or baby powder?





Don't be embarrassed to talk to the doctor - they've seen everything and the most that is going to happen is a lecture about losing weight. (But it sounds like you are working out - good for you!) It's better to just get it over with when it comes to the doctor.

You must go to a doctor despite embarrassment.. they may be boils but they also may be MRSA or a regular staph infection and you likely need antibiotics and some bactraban to get rid of them

Any dermatologist would recommend not touching them. Keep your skin clean and dry. Your doctor can prescribe various medications. A mild drug that often works is Minocycline (an antibiotic). Another, strong but potentially dangerous medication is Accutane (a very strong drug that cannot be used in potentially pregnant women, causes severe drying of the skin and is liver toxic so enzymes must be check monthly). Mostly acne is caused by hormones and will get better with age.

What I do is really simple. Take a clean wash rag, douse it with steaming hot water, then lie it on your face. Leave it there about a few minutes. You can lie down on your bed or whatever, it doesn't take long. Then splash off your face with warm water, using your finger tips to get all the oils off. Lastly, splash with cool water to close up the pores.


Do this every night or so before bed. It should clear up. Also, try scrubbing the areas gently with a warm wash rag in circular motions. Black heads and white heads are just areas that need to open up, blockages. A warm rag will open these areas up... then wash it all away. Well i have a couple of things that are guarinteed to work. they were even tested and shown to improve your acne. Try putting apple cider vinigar on them keep it there for like 15 minutes then wash it off. I saw that in a dr. donihue collum in the news paper. Something else that works it putting a pea sized dab of tooth paiste on each pimple and keeping it there for 15 minutes then washing it off. I saw that in a cosmo magazine. these remedies sre much cheaper then buying proactive or some other face product and thier proven to work
use bacticine..put a little on a cottonball and constantly wipe the area with it....some people say using toothpaste on a pimple will make it go away...it hasnt worked for me but the bacticine works for me..and since i have oily skin..i wipe my face once in a while with acne cleanser..or when its at the oilyest i put a little rubbing alcohol on acne prone areas like my forehead...dont let anything go in ur eyes tho

Blackheads do not mean your skin is dirty. Wash your face only with plain water and don't place lots of commercial skincare products on it.





Dietary quick changes: Avoid all dairy based products, oils, and refined carbohydrates (white breads, white pastas, etc).





Then eat lots of apples and papaya for breakfast. Do it this way: Eat as many apples as you desire, wait at least 2 hours, then eat papaya, wait at least 3 hours before eating other foods.

Also, you could ask your doctor for some Retin-A microgel (it's about $65.00 without insurance) but it works--basically it peels the top layer of skin off and makes your cells less sticky--it gets worse before it gets better--you might be able to get it cheaper from Canadadrugs.com if insurance doesn't cover it.

Blackheads are caused by partially blocked pores. The ';black'; appearance of them is not caused by dirt, but by the oxidising effect of air on the sebum (oil) in a blocked pore and the melanin pigment from the dead skin cells.





The best way to get rid of blackheads is to remove the cause of them 鈥?excessive sebum (oil) and dead skin cells. Use only products made with natural ingredients that are not too astringent. Harsh products can strip the skin of oil, causing it to produce more sebum which leads to more blocked pores. Don't be afraid of using cleansing products containing natural oils, such as jojoba or coconut oil to cleanse the skin. These oils are close to our natural oils, so they don't block the pores. Go back to the doctor and ask to be referred to a dermatologist. My daughter did and she got some medication and cream and after a couple of months seems to be working. Laser treatment may also be offered to clear the scarring.
