Avoid all products that contain benzoil peroxide! Look for products with salicylic acid instead. If that doesn't work out, try using a mild soap with no acid content. Original Ivory bar soap is the mildest on the market in the US, it's what my doctor recommended for me. Neutrogena and Pears are two good glycerin soaps. My grandmother had perfect skin and she would only use original Cuticura bar soap and Cuticure lotion. Always use Witch Hazel as an astringent/toner. It's mild and natural. You could use an anti-acne spot treatment formulated without acids after the toner.
Firstly, go to the Dr who will either treat it it with tablets or with a steroid cream - don't waste your money on the usual Boots or Superdrug creams+potions, they will exaserbate the problem. If you are gonna buy something, try probducts with charcoal or mud to help with the blackheads
2ndly, drink plenty of water, cleanse your skin during the morning, afternoon+night, treat your hands with anticeptic gel - the more you touch your face, the more dirt gets in, keep off the booze and learn to relax in order to calm down your blood.

I squeeze because I hate the feel of pimples when they have that bump under the skin. My husband doesnt though and it drives me insane that he can have these big pimples and just leave them there untouched!Why do we like squeezing pimples and blackheads?

I had same problem is you i had so many pimples in my face which of course i didn't like it and one day i tell my self its enough after i tried so many products like clearasil etc and i decided go to doctor and get professional help, well now after 2years i will never regret any more i went to doctor he give me some drug tablets which not just make face clear but also prevent scaring so now my face clear and beautiful as new hah.
What I'm saying is its really important to get professional help and DO NOT SQUEEZE THEM its just make it horrible which make you regret in the future.

make sure you are washing your face very thoroughly, sometimes cleansers can't get all the dirt off the surface, so at night it might be worthwhile taking a baby wipe and wiping your face, then washing it. to remove blackheads, you need to exfoliate. don't do it too harshly as your skin can get irritated. remember to wear spf during the day, and look for moisturisers labelled 'non comedogenic' (won't block pores)

Save your money from the commercial products. I used bleach on a cotton puff and within a few days - no blackheads on my nose.
First cleanse with a good acne/ blackhead wash, second , take a hot moist towel and apply over affected area. Third, use a blackhead implement (metal instrument) available at drug stores to pop them out. Fourth, use a astringent/ toner saturated cotton baal over area.
Biore pore strips are great and to prevent the blackheads next time, consider trying Proactiv. It is the best stuff I have ever found for problem (acne prone) skin. You can always find it on ebay without having to join the Proactiv club (which will automatically charge and ship it to you every month) on their website. Ebay is the way to go if you are looking to just try it. Best of luck to you.

Also, with repeated use, those strips can actually damage and scar your pores, and while you might not have blackheads, you might wind up with huge, wide-open craters for pores (that you cannot repair) in the future.
So my advice is that whatever you do, don't use those blackhead strips, however tempting they might look. They aren't worth it.

But if you're going to have face washes that have those in there (alpha hydroxy or glycolic), just don't go overboard with other products that could be more sensitive for your skin. It's all about trial and error with your skin,though. Hope this helps.

And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Put a towel over yourself and the bowl so that no heat can escape, and no cold air get get to you. If you have very oily skin use a toner in your T zone, that is the oiliest part of your face. About once a week use a clay mask over your trouble spots.
This should help prevent further spreading.

scrub or exfoliator. wash your face really well in circular motions. you have to do it deep in circular motions or it won't get rid of them. don't try glue.
Start getting regular facials at least once in two months and try microdermabrasion or vibraderm. That should definitely help.Also I've done glicolic peel and it helps but you gotta know someone good to do it.

scrub or exfoliator. wash your face really well in circular motions. you have to do it deep in circular motions or it won't get rid of them. don't try glue.
Start getting regular facials at least once in two months and try microdermabrasion or vibraderm. That should definitely help.Also I've done glicolic peel and it helps but you gotta know someone good to do it.

well.... get a big bowl and put a quarter of a cup of honey in it, add a bag of white chocolate, nestle cooking chocolate chip thingys. add some apple and Gauva juice.. but be sure not to put too much of the juice otherwise it will curdle. now put it all in the microvave, for as long as it takes for the chocolate to melt. once the chocolate is all melted and you have mixed it around, add some self raising flour and a drop of milk, depending in how dry the mixture has become.

i remove them with a surgical needle and sterile gauze (can be bought from the drug store) - there's never been a problem after so many years. Do be cautious and ensure the utmost hygiene is practised.
I would use coconut oil.

check these helpful methods that helped me to treat my acne:
Water
Drink plenty of water every day. Try drinking at least two liters of still mineral water. If the skin becomes dehydrated, dead skin cells are not effectively shed, which can lead to blocked pores and further acne.
Sunshine and fresh air
Sunshine stimulates the creation of vitamin D in the body - an important vitamin for healthy skin. Reduce your intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates

The Body Shop make this brilliant little stick that you place over the blackhead and push gently. If the blackhead is ready to come out it should just pop forward through the hole, with no blood. Don't force it or you will be left with a permanent reminder of the blackhead (a pockmark.) They only cost 1.99 but make sure you sterilise it first.
Or just get a towel and a bucket of steaming hot water and stick your face over it for a few minutes to open the pore then apply very gentle pressure. Again don't force it or it will bleed and leave a scar.
To prevent them appearing make sure you use a non-clogging moisturiser to clean your skin every night, even if you don't wear makeup. I recommend Johnsons Baby Lotion but make sure you don't leave any on your face- run a clean piece of cotton wool over your face when you're finished cleansing to soak up any excess lotion.
And the old favourite, lots and lots of water. You can still eat chocolate and greasy food in moderate proportions. Its a myth that greasy food causes spots and blackheads, the only thing that causes these are excess grease in the skin which can be controlled with regular cleansing.
i don't have any home remedies, but the biore blackhead strips have worked really well. i found that their traditional ones didn't work as well as their ultra deep ones, but i did recently try the ultra deep ones and i thought that they worked pretty well. i also thought that they worked the best compared to other brand black head strips. additionally, the best way to get rid of black heads is to wash your face daily with a gentle cleanser such as spectro jel or cetaphil.
I've heard of people using lemon joy dish soap to wash their face in and have never had a pimple or blackhead in their lives. But it has to be the lemon kind for whatever reason. idk. It's worth a shot though. i've never (knock on wood) had any skin problems other than when I was a teen though so I can't really tell you of any others.

if I don't stay on top of it I will get em too, I have this thing for pushing them out, here I put a link at the bottom, and I use clarifying masks all the time, and a mini crock pot in the sink with swiss kriss herbs in the water, and a towel over your head, blow on the water to make the steam come up, and I have what's called a ';fine rubber facial curry'; it is usually sold for grooming horses, don't laugh, I use mine every day, soap, cleanser, lotion, scrub off a clay mask whatever, it works great, I love it, and use purifying masks, and toners or witch hazel, that I put in a little perfume travel bottle and spray on my face
Method 1
Use creams containing AHA's (Alpha Hydroxyl Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and ';expose'; the blackhead. Use the AHA's every 3 days or so.
Method 2
Make a lotion with equal parts of lime juice, almond oil and glycerine and apply on the face. It not only cures blackheads but the discoloring spots on the face too.
Method 3
1. Warm a little honey and apply on the trouble spots.
2. Wash off after 10-15 minutes.
Method 4
1. Beat an egg white stiff.
2. Add 1 tsp honey.
3. With a cotton swab apply on the face and leave for half an hour.
4. Rinse with warm water and pat it dry.
* Avoid washing the face with soaps more than twice a day. Instead wash your face often with plain water splashes.
* Keep your hair away from your face. Greasy hair and skin go together, and hair can spread infection.

I used to have a bad blackhead problem on my nose until I started getting regular facials. Now I have no problems...I'm not a professional, just someone with personal experience, but I think you need to start getting facials more often than every 2 or 3 months to make a big difference for you. I know you said you don't like facials...but they have brought me so much success, I couldn't be happier...I'm begging you to reconsider! :) Try every month...that's what I did, and getting them every month helped keep the pores way cleaner and after a while I was able to cut back from once a month because my pores were staying cleaner. A bit of an investment but totally worth it. I don't think the Biore strips did any good for me because mine were so deep and stubborn they either didn't get picked up, or the ones that did weren't totally removed and had their roots still in my pores. I honestly don't think there is any way to get rid of them with creams or washes because if you think about it, they are deep down in your pores...what are the cleanser supposed to, dissolve that crap like acid or something? I feel like they need to be physically removed. I often have this problem and use pore strips every so often. They are a little bit expensive but work wonders if you find you suddenly get a clog up of pores. Along with regular pore clearing cleanser it keeps my nose black head free. My poor boyfriend however works in a very unclean envroment and is plauged with them his solution... even though he is a man lol was to buy a cheap facial steamer which leaves him black head free.

biore strips are excellent, but if your looking for something you can use daily try clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser, also an exfoliating cleanser would be the best option if your looking for something that will keep them away. look for a cleanser with beads which will exfoliate your skin and clean out your pores.
I used to have a bad blackhead problem on my nose until I started getting regular facials. Now I have no problems...I'm not a professional, just someone with personal experience, but I think you need to start getting facials more often than every 2 or 3 months to make a big difference for you. I know you said you don't like facials...but they have brought me so much success, I couldn't be happier...I'm begging you to reconsider! :) Try every month...that's what I did, and getting them every month helped keep the pores way cleaner and after a while I was able to cut back from once a month because my pores were staying cleaner. A bit of an investment but totally worth it. I don't think the Biore strips did any good for me because mine were so deep and stubborn they either didn't get picked up, or the ones that did weren't totally removed and had their roots still in my pores. I honestly don't think there is any way to get rid of them with creams or washes because if you think about it, they are deep down in your pores...what are the cleanser supposed to, dissolve that crap like acid or something? I feel like they need to be physically removed. Like I said I'm not a professional but that's what makes sense to me...anyway good luck, I know how bad blackheads suck.Does anyone know any cream or any mask or ANYTHING that takes off the blackheads on your nose?

I often have this problem and use pore strips every so often. They are a little bit expensive but work wonders if you find you suddenly get a clog up of pores. Along with regular pore clearing cleanser it keeps my nose black head free. My poor boyfriend however works in a very unclean envroment and is plauged with them his solution... even though he is a man lol was to buy a cheap facial steamer which leaves him black head free.

It doesnt give you more, but it will dry your face out. Certain soaps with moisturizer however may cause you to get blemishes... not blackheads. I apply ice packs over this for about 5 minutes. Do this until your skin clears. Then you can use ice only as needed but continue with the other part of the regimen.
